Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics, The University of Texas at Austin’s Post

Pulling out all the stops. 🛑 🛩 This year’s Fall 2023 Senior Aircraft Design II team, WingzStop, may have been small, but that didn’t stop these seniors from acing their end-of-semester fly-off. “Their fly-off went very smoothly, and they were able to drop one of the simulated first aid kits within the threshold target accuracy, close to the objective accuracy. Overall, I’m proud of their performance over the last two semesters,” said Greg Zwernemann, a professor of practice in the ASE/EM Department who has been teaching the aircraft system engineering senior capstone design course since the fall of 2018. Congratulations to everyone on the team for your successful fly-off – we’re proud to call y’all Texas Engineers! 🤘 #AircraftDesign #SeniorCapstoneProject #SystemsEngineering #AerospaceEngineering #WhatStartsHere #TexasEngineering Cockrell School of Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin | University of Texas Center for Space Research
